To overcome adversity, embrace your vulnerability while trusting the process. Every problem carries a hidden gift for your spiritual growth.

In this entry, I will not consider physical ailments or illnesses because I believe that, in addition to everything else that follows, it is necessary to assimilate and consider a very intimate facet of life, which I will not speak about today: old age and death.

What I would like to tell you now is how to approach dealing with a problem that suddenly arises and has an uncertain outcome.

When you live in gratitude and surrender, fewer and fewer problems and challenges arise because they simply seem less serious to you. However, sometimes a problem arises that you can’t get around so easily because it doesn’t depend on you. This is when you should ask yourself the following questions: What can I do with this? What should I learn?

The hidden gift

The first thing you should keep in mind is that whatever happens, there is a hidden gift in all this. Perhaps it is something that you have to do, perhaps it is something that the other people involved have to do, or perhaps it is something from a third party that will bring this gift. But the gift will arise. Remember that there are many things that do not depend on you, and you will see the result of this master movement of events later.

Trust is everything

Recently, I read that doubt is the basis of science, understanding science as the knowledge of things. In the search for scientific truth of things, you will always have to doubt, even when you reach a supposed certainty, because when the evidence changes, you will have to start the investigation again. What does this mean? That in science, there will always be doubt, and therefore, there will never be complete trust.

Religion, on the other hand, is the science of being. The foundation of any religion is trust. Therefore, trust is also the foundation of spiritual growth.

Here it gets interesting because this implies that to advance on your spiritual path you must trust. It’s impossible to do it if you don’t trust. You need the stillness of trust to access your inner self. Finding your god requires you to let go of control and be open to receive. Do you realize? At a certain moment, you must leave your mind on the edge of the road and move forward with your heart.

Trust in the process

Trust is one of the defining characteristics of children. They trust not because of lack of knowledge or ignorance. They do it because they trust in life, in their livelihood, in their parents, and in their physical integrity. There is no alternative, and they do it without fear, without considering the opposite. Living this way, trusting, is one of the keys to entering the ‘kingdom of heaven’ which, as you already know, is found in this reality.

I want to live in that kingdom. I want to feel that magic and know that life was always the way I thought it should be.

Now it’s your turn. You must take the time you need to observe everything that invades you and let it settle in your being. Then, look among the disorder for the shine of your faith. There it still is, among all the chaos.

Whenever you face a challenge, think one thing: if it is happening, it is because it is what you should experience. And you must trust that all these tests have a hidden gift. Think ‘I must live this experience for my growth, for my evolution. It will be resolved in harmony with all stakeholders and I will learn something that will take me to the next level of the path.

In your spiritual growth, one of your values must be trust. This means it should be something you hold dear. Now, you must incorporate and internalize it within yourself. For what purpose? So that it manifests in your actions. This way, you will bring it to life in the present.

You are going to need to look for trust within yourself. Your faith. And this process is simple and complex because it happens within you.

How to trust

Don’t know how to trust? Yes, you do. But it has a price. It means surrendering and trusting while feeling all that vulnerability. But you know what? You have always been vulnerable. Your shield only serves to not feel it, but it does not make you invulnerable. Only when you are willing to feel it in its entirety (transcend it) does it stop making sense and disappear.

Finding your trust and restoring it is simply seeing it again. Like when you find a lost object in your house. It wasn’t actually lost, you just weren’t aware of where it was.And when you find it, whatever size it is, you must give it power.

Claim your power

How? By claiming it. Remember, the secret of everything is in how you feel. So claim your power. Reclaim your power of who you are, of your connection to life, and feel that you are part of everything that is to come.

And if everything around you is chaotic, remember that everything you see is just a reflection of what is happening on a higher level. There, in the higher reality, in the energetic world of emotions, in your consciousness, is where you must place your trust. Don’t think about countering the chaos of events and circumstances, because they will continue on their course. Instead, focus on placing your heavy trust, with both hands, at the center of your heart. That is where everything is happening. Do you feel it? Close your eyes and place your trust there.

You are never alone

Remember, YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. Don’t forget this. And because of that, if this is happening, you will also be given the resources to overcome it. Ask for strength, place your trust, and feel that you are being held. Take that hand as you did when you were a child, look at the unknown with innocence, and prepare to grow.
